Fiqh in religion means understanding the Quran, understanding the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and understanding Islam; from the perspective of the origin of Sharia, the commandments of Allah that we have been ordered to follow, the prohibitions, the deep understanding of what is due from Muslims in terms of the rights of Allah and the rights of people, the fear of Allah, venerating Him, and being vigilant in what a Muslim does and leaves.

Fiqh is a science of great importance, with a significant role in the life of a Muslim. It is incumbent upon every Muslim to strive to learn it.
Fiqh Course Overview:
The curriculum of Fiqh “Islamic jurisprudence” is divided into two levels:


1-Beginner Level:
A simplified and concise curriculum covering the rulings of purification, prayer, the call to prayer (Adhan), and rulings related to worship.


2-Intermediate Level:
A slightly expanded curriculum that comes after the beginner level, encompassing rulings of purification, prayer, zakat, fasting, Hajj, and miscellaneous rulings related to worship and its performance.
Fiqh Course Requirements:

A graded curriculum suitable for all ages starting from five years old. To achieve the objectives of the curriculum, the learner is required to:

∎ Proficiency in Arabic or English.

∎ Ability to communicate remotely.

∎ Passing the level of Islamic fundamentals on My Deen Institute.

∎ Not skipping a stage on another account except after passing the stage through complete study or by passing its specific test.
Simplified Fiqh:

Levels: 1 duration: 25 Hours

Summary: This curriculum is designed for Level 1 of Simplified Fiqh and spans approximately 25 hours.
It covers fundamental Islamic concepts related to purification and worship.
Topics include ablution (wudu) and ritual bathing (ghusl), as well as exceptional circumstances like dry ablution (tayammum).


Legal aspects of prayer performance and its conditions are discussed, alongside etiquettes of worship, wiping over socks, and prostration of forgetfulness (sujood sahw).


Other topics encompass congregational prayer, making up missed prayers, and considerations for travelers and Friday prayers.
Special occasions like Eid prayers and Taraweeh prayers are covered, along with fasting, expiation (kaffarah), and making up missed fasts.
Prophetic guidance within the context of religious worship is also reviewed.

Prayer: Dives into the obligations and pillars of prayer, along with its recommended acts and etiquettes.
Zakat: Explores the obligation of giving Zakat, who is eligible to receive it, and its types.
Fasting: Covers the rulings related to fasting and the recommended fasting days.
Hajj and Umrah: Explains the rules and requirements for performing the obligations of Hajj and Umrah.
Sacrifice (Qurban) and Offering (Hadi): Deals with the obligations and etiquettes of sacrifice and offering.
Funeral and Death: Addresses the rulings related to death and funeral procedures.
Characteristics of Mosques: Presents information about the characteristics of the three sacred mosques and their importance in Islam.
